DESCRIPTION:
These were originally created to work inside laboratories. They are made entirely out of AISI 304 stainless steel and are equipped with an electric steam generator with a circular diffuser in the boiler. The loading basket is placed inside and the condenser is installed in the upper section. The product is collected in glass flasks equipped with mobile rods to adjust the water-oil level. This microsystem, specifically designed to extract essential oils from medicinal herbs, also permits recovery of aromatic waters.
It is made on a mobile carriage so that it can easily be moved about inside the laboratory.
HOW IT WORKS:
Load the herbs inside the basket, being careful to distribute them uniformly in order to prevent formation of preferential steam passage channels. Insert the basket with its upper grate inside the boiler. Close the cover, turn on the electric boiler and the cooling circuit. Steam that is produced cools down when it passes through the condenser and separates oil from the aromatic water. Subsequently the essential oil starts accumulating in the upper section of the aromatic water given the difference in specific weight.
